Now this is well known that Shri Sudesh Kumar is the second runnerup and also recommended by the MR for the post of Member Electrical, Railway Board. Sources said that MR recommended him as "In her point of view the no. 2 candidate - Shri Sudesh Kumar - in the pannel is the most suitable for the post", where the no. 1 candidate - Shri U. C. D. Shreni - is fulfilling not only the comditions of Seniority & suitability but also he has completed more than one year as GM open line and his balance service is also more than one year and throughout the outstanding service record. Where Shri Sudesh Kumar is not even completed one year as GM open line (only 7.5 months upto date) but also his balance service is not sufficient for the promotion of the said post. Now when the investigations is on the property and the conduct of Shri Shreni by the CVC/CBI then the following facts about Shri Sudesh Kumar's conducts should also be paralel enquirable, so that many doubts will be cleared.

New Delhi : Shri Sudesh Kumar, GM/NCR, has neither completed one year tenure as open line GM neither he has two years balance service and also he is not the seniormost, which means that he does not fulfill any of the conditions which is required for becoming member of Railway Board. But still his aspirations to become ML by hook or by crook, are sending a wrong message, both in the Railways and to the outside in the general public.
The past of Shri Sudesh Kumar has not been clean enough to become even GM. But since he became GM by similar means and fevoured by ex.MR because of he is in his good book, now he is hoping to become Member Railway Board on similar lines, the most reliable sources are brought out the following facts to check above, which are only the tip of the iceberg.
1. When Shri Sudesh Kumar was Additional Member Electrical, Railway Board (AM/EL/RB) in 2008, he openly misused his position and collected huge sum of money, which say about Rs. 37 lac, from all the zonal railways by issueing a letter no. IRSEE/Seminar/2008 Dated 19.08.2008 to all Chief Electrical Engineers (CEEs) of Indian Railways to collect money from the all electrical suppliers/contractors who were working under them, to conduct a seminar.
Sources said that it is most important fact that this amount was collected from all Zonal Railways. This fact was established when one of the officer on Southern Railway was caught red handed by CBI collecting this amount from one of the contractor. The officer's statement is in the record with CBI that the money was being collected on the instructions of Shri Sudesh Kumar. This statement is enough to prove the conduct of Shri Sudesh Kumar. Sources say that MR can easily check this fact by demanding the concerned file from Vigilance.
Sources said the concerned officer and controlling Chief Electrical Engineer are still facing the CBI Case but the main responsible person that Shri Sudesh Kumar was let off and promoted to become GM due to his connections and very near dear of ex.MR. Does Ministers for Railways Ms. Mamta Banerjee know the integrity of this General Manager? Whether his deeds will be investigated into, by MR...?
2. Things have not stopped there. Now since one goal of becoming GM was achieved by Shri Kumar, for achieving his another goal of ML has to resort another illegal channel for funding his dream project of Member Electrical. This time Shri Sudesh Kumar relied on a foreign company to pressurize the sources to pursue his ineligible case of ML. This company is a German Company named M/s KFW entrusted with a Signalling work "Train Controlling System Level-II" from Allahabad to Kanpur is being executed by IRPMU. The total cost of this project is near about Rs. 200 crore.
Sources say the Indian operations of this German company are looked by a Kolkata based firm named M/s. MR Traders. It is alleged that in last one month Shri Sudesh Kumar accepted atleast four conditions of M/s. MR Traders where each has financial implications more than Crore of Rupees. When these conditions were lying unaccepted for quiet some time they have been recently accepted in haste to cause monetary gains to M/s. MR Traders who have been entrusted to fund the dream project of Shri Sudesh Kumar via some Kolkata based politician.
"We request the Minister for Railways Ms. Mamta Banerjee that Indian Railways is looking upto her, who has an impression of abiding by the rules that the aspirations of such corrupt people should be nipped in the bud, so that indiscipline and more corruption does not enter the System. We also request that these deeds of Shri Sudesh Kumar shall get investigated and a corrupt GM shall be removed." Said some Electrical Officers in Railway Board and Zonal Railways, who did not want to be disclosed their name.
Sources also said, there are certain officers (3 to 4) in Railway Board who are part and parcel of Shri Kumar in his dream project of ML and all the past nefarious deeds. Atleast two of these officers have been seen in PMO quite a number of times in last two weeks for the reasons better know to them. The entry records of the PMO will reveal the facts itself.
