There was a report in a Tamil daily alleging irregularity in Tatkal booking at Chennai Central.
# Previously in chennai central there was a problem in booking regular tickets. Some travel agents occupy some counters. Their technique is that they will be seated alternatively. If an agent books a ticket, he will be standing near the counter pretending as if he is checking the ticket. The second person will be a public. the third person will be an agent. When the third person books a ticket, the person who went frist gives another two forms. I think with the help of booking staff they are doing such things.
Last year i had a worst exprience in my Queue there were only 10 persons. it took two hours to book ticket. The system has changed now, on may 11th i went to MMC to book a ticket it took only 30 mins.
A system of regulating the queue before the entry into the reservation office giving serial registration number exists.
