SWR : Some trains cancelled


HUBLI: South Western Railway has decided to block the railway track between
Tarikere and Masarahalli stations in Birur-Shimoga town section of Mysore
Division on May 17 and May 24 for carrying out work on elimination of unmanned
level crossing.

It has cancelled a few trains completely and a few partially.

The railway line would be blocked on these dates from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. during
which the work of insertion of pre-cast RCC boxes for elimination of unmanned
level crossings would be carried out.

Accordingly, Train Nos. 279 Shimoga Town-Birur Passenger, Train No. 577 Shimoga
Town-Birur Passenger, Train No. 578 Birur-Shimoga Town Passenger and Train No.
280 Birur-Shimoga Town Passenger have been cancelled on May 17 and May 24 (two
days only).

Partially cancelled


Train Nos. 576/588 Shimoga Town-Bangalore-Shimoga Town Fast Passengers will be
partially cancelled between Shimoga Town and Birur May 17 and May 24. These
trains will run only between Birur and Bangalore stations on these days.

Train Nos. 587/575 Bangalore-Shimoga Town-Bangalore Passengers will be partially
cancelled between Birur and Shimoga Town on May 17 and May 24. These trains will
run between Bangalore and Birur stations.

Similarly, train Nos. 267/268 Shimoga Town-Mysore-Shimoga Town Passenger will be
partially cancelled between Shimoga Town-Birur-Shimoga Town on May 17 and will
run between Birur and Mysore stations.
