BHEL Gets IR's Rs.990 cr Order
Power equipments maker Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd. ( BHEL ) has bagged an order worth Rs. 990 crores from the Railways for the supply of electric locomotives. The company is already executing 50 similar locomotives and the present order is in addition to it. The company will manufacture and supply these locomotives at the rate of 50 per year from its Jhansi unit.
