Sir,
The 1 AC class is probably given first preference to the higher railway officials , or MLA's and other politicians in their need for urgency even after preparation of the final charts prior to the departure of the train.

As I have stated earlier, all the Beryths in IAC are NOT earmarked for HO purpose.

Likewise, any request for release of berth under HO for "ANY CLASS" MUST be received before Charting ONLY.

I raised this issue to the GM/C.R.I.S.
His reply is self explanatory.
Something wrong somewhere but not with PRS.

sir,
As per our records in the backend, the ticket was for journey on 18/05 and not on 17/5 as claimed. It was a eticket. At the time of issue of ticket, the position was 1 berth confirmed and 4 passengers on waiting list. This position remained unchanged till the time of cancellation of the ticket on 15/5 (contrary to the passenger's claim that he checked the status on 16/5). (This was a First AC ticket)

Probably the error in dates may be due to memory recollection errors on the part of your friend. It does not seem to be possible that the ticket was printed with all passengers confirmed since the records in the backend are unambiguous. However if by any chance he has a xerox of the old ticket, pl ask him to send the same.

Most likely case is that he mistakenly assumed that it was fully confirmed on seeing confirmation of the first passenger.

Thanks,
