15 Coach Train on

WR from June

WR Mumbai is too much strained section of IR with trains
never ever running on time even when there is provision of slack time.
This is happening since last 1-2 years and its increasing as more no
of MRVC rakes been added (and many old 05xx still not scrapped).

Considering time between 2 slow trains is too less (2-3 mins)
(sometimes my friends travelling on WR slow mockingly say that if you
peep out of the door during peak hrs then u'll see 1 train ahead ofyours and 1 train behind). so firstly no longer should additional 9
car rakes be put to service. Still MRVC rakes are made 9 coach and put
to service in slow tracks of WR. 3 12 car rakes would mean 4 9 car
rakes. 3 12 car rakes (slow tracks) in 10 mins would mean running 9
car rakes in 2.5 mins interval. So as per my opinion all fast trains
should be 12 car, and majority of slow trains also 12 car.

AFA 15 car rake concerned, they should be regularly put to use
(frequency 15-20 mins each) after MRVC ph 2 (i.e. BVI-ADH 6th line,
7th and 8th line between ADH-MM are completed). All mail/express
trains would go from this 3rd pair of lines (4th pair in case adh-mm
section) and in addition all 15 car rakes also.

There is no problem in starting only one 15 car rake which runs DF
(double fast) between DDR-VR, having haults only at ADH, BVI, BYR and
BSR. 1 rake would mean 10-12 services/day. But the foolish thing of
increasing the haults by public demand to stations where length of pf
is only 12 coaches (by haulting train 2 times at 1 station) should not
be allowed.
